Coraline’s had the hots for Joshua Thomas from the moment he waltzed into one of her parents’ elaborate Christmas parties. But after years of pining after the pilot, not even working the same flight is enough to convince her to finally confess her crush.
When a massive winter storm delays their flight back home, stranding the crew on the beautiful—often deemed magical—island of Topica Bay, Coraline finds herself coerced into planning an impromptu Christmas party with none other than the man of her dreams.
Locking herself away for the next forty-eight hours and swearing off any feelings for the irresistible captain is tempting… But what might happen if she caved and risked her heart on a silly Christmas wish?
One More Wish is a stand-alone short story companion to the Topica Bay series and can be enjoyed in any reading order
MY REVIEW:
DISCLAIMER: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
In the prequel to Loren’s Topica Bay series, One More Wish is a Christmas short story featuring Kate’s (from One More Kiss) best friend Coraline and her pilot, Joshua. (We saw a bit of their chemistry in One More Kiss.) This book played out like a steamy Hallmark movie.
Coraline is returning home to New York from a trip to Topica Bay and hopes to make it back in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has other ideas and a massive snow storms halts their departure, leaving her stranded in Topica Bay for the holidays along with Joshua. Coraline’s always had a thing for Josh, and vice versa, but the timing has never been right. With this second chance, will they both get what they’ve wished for?
Readers will be able to read this story and many more in the upcoming Christmas anthology, Let’s Get Naughty, that’s set to release on 11/01/2022.
Thanks Loren and Krista for the advance copy!
