Are you looking for a quick and steamy holiday romance to either finish off your holiday reading or get you closer to your year end reading goal? Consider picking this book up. It’s a short (less than 100 pages), steamy insta-love story about a couple that gets snowed in for Christmas when a massive snowstorm decides to arrive early.
Bethenny Andersen is the mayor of Winter Falls who has no time for a love life. In fact, she’s still a virgin! She meets Lincoln Granger when he unexpectedly drops in on her home after being stranded on his way to his friend’s family’s house for Christmas. It’s love at first sight for them and it isn’t long before they’re burning up the sheets together.
I enjoyed this story and I am interested in seeing how Fiona’s voice differentiates from Elle’s and Rochelle’s in this series. Fiona’s books are touted as sexy romances with a kinky twist on her website. Lincoln was a dirty talking, dominant alpha in and out of the bedroom who liked spanking Bethenny whenever she did something naughty. It wasn’t prevalent in this story, so I guess I have to read more stories from Fiona to find out 😉.
The epilogues were great and I am really interested in seeing if we get a story about Jake’s HEA in the near future as I get the impression that that boy is lonely and needs some good lovin’!
