Book Boyfriend of the Month: July 2021 (Olympics Edition)

July was a slow reading month for me (I only read 6 according to Goodreads!) but the books I did read were really good! In fact, I have 3 contenders for the Book Boyfriend of the Month so instead of one Book Boyfriend of the Month and in honor of the Tokyo Olympics, I am going to do a Gold, Bronze, Silver edition!

In first place, winning the Gold Medal is Dante Lozano (our hero in Rebecca Sharp's Bribed; Book 2 in her Covington series that released July 29th.) I had the amazing opportunity to read this book as an ARC and absolutely loved it! Dante won me over with his dorkiness (shamelessly jamming out to BSB, eating candy like it's going out of style, etc.), sexiness (that man can dirty talk and he backs it up) and how protective he was of Lenni. To read my review, click here. I believe the picture that was used for the cover was a stock photo so I don't know the name of the model and therefore can't provide a social media account so you can stalk him for more of his hotness. However, when I reading the book I couldn't help but picture Adam Garcia (in his Coyote Ugly days; circa 2000!) as Dante.

Adam does have an Instagram if you would like to follow him at: @thatadamgarcia. I don't think he has a TikTok account (at least none that I can find.)

In second place, the Bronze Medal goes to Viscount Axel Manningham-Tissinton (our hero in Annabelle Anders' Cocky Viscount; Book 4 in her Regency Cocky Gents series that released April 27th.) I found this book through a Facebook ad and I was immediately swept up in Axel and Felicity's love story. Axel won me over because of how protective he was of Felicity and I loved watching him fall in love with her. You can read my full review of this story, here. Like Bribed, the cover of this book looks to be a stock photo so no name and no social media account. I actually can't tell you who I pictured in this role, I think I just pictured whoever Annabelle described but it wasn't someone with a famous doppelganger I could point you to.

In third place and winning the Silver Medal is Grant Servantes from Josie Watt's Fish Out of Water. This book is Book 1 in her series, Scandal in Sweet Side that released July 30th. Josie is the romantic comedy pen name for Janice Whiteaker and she knocked it out of the park! Grant won me over with how protective he was of Julia (notice a pattern? lol) and I loved watching him fall for Julia and how he couldn't get enough of her. I also loved that he kept calling her "Banana Pants" because when they first met, she was wearing banana pants. To read more of my review, click here. Unlike the previous two books, this cover was not a stock photo but rather a graphic that Janice created herself. While no cover model, the muse that she used while writing this book was model Paul Kelly. Yummy, isn't he? I don't know how I would react if a guy gave me that look. I just might faint! lol

If any of these book boyfriends intrigue you and you would like to read the books they star in, all three are available through Amazon. Fish Out of Water and Bribed are also available through Kindle Unlimited.

If you've read these, do you agree that these are Book Boyfriends of the Month? What book(s) have you read this past month that you would nominate for Book Boyfriend of the Month?
