“You know exactly what’s happening here, Bridget,” I growled. “I’m done fighting this. Us. I fucking need you.”
— Jared "Mac" MacKenzie (Mac, Fiona Davenport)

MY REVIEW:

Is it still called a kidnapping if the kidnappee helps the kidnapper?

Jared “Mac” MacKenzie is the President of the Silver Saints MC. When a member of a rival MC, Hounds of Hellfire MC, beats one of their members unconscious, he attempts to find out who by speaking to their President but to no avail. Frustrated, he decides to kidnap the Prez’ daughter, Bridget, in hopes that the he will talk in exchange for the safe return of his daughter. That all changes when he finds himself falling for his willful prisoner.

Even though Bridget Pierce is the daughter of the President of the Hounds of Hellfire MC, she’s had the hots for Mac (even though he is 20 years her senior!) When Mac shows up unannounced to kidnap her, she willingly goes along.

I really enjoyed this story. While it is short (only 120 pages), there was enough of a plot to keep me invested, and the chemistry between Mac and Bridget was red hot!! When it finally exploded, boy did they burn the sheets up!! Mac is also one of the filthiest dirty talkers I have ever read!

In addition to Bridget and Mac, I also enjoyed some of the other characters/couples in the books and can’t wait to read their stories. I liked the hint that we got of Logan and Luna and I wonder if we’ll ever get a story about them. So far, my Google search doesn’t show anything.

If you like steamy MC romances where there’s a 20 year age gap between the hero and heroine, and like your stories short, I recommend getting this book. You can either buy on Amazon, or rent the book through KU.
