I really enjoyed this story! I was a little hesitant in the beginning because I saw in the blurb on Goodreads that it was a sweet romance. I haven’t read a sweet romance in quite some time, but I didn’t miss the spice at all when I was reading this.
I loved Gerald and Selena! I loved their chemistry and loved watching them fall in love with each other! I loved the change we saw in Gerald from the very beginning of the story!
There is quite a bit of suspense in this book and that adversary mentioned in the blurb is a real piece of work! I loved how Anna wrote and made you hate them!
This was the first book I read from Anna St. Claire and even though it’s the fifth book in the series, I had no problem understanding what was happening in the story.
